Cultural Center PX
In the Brabant town of Vught, you will find the Petrus Church. Just a few years ago, this beautiful church building was on the verge of being demolished. Thankfully, the structure was repurposed, and not just in any way. This church has been transformed into a multifunctional center, now serving as the vibrant heart of cultural Vught. It offers the perfect blend of preserving the church's original appearance while giving it a contemporary update. Acoustics also played a significant role in the project. After all, can you imagine a library with poor acoustics? In this project, custom-shaped seamless acoustic ceilings were installed beneath the upper floor.
The result is a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, where the Petrus Church stands as a testament to thoughtful repurposing and acoustic excellence, ensuring that it remains a valuable cultural asset for Vught.
