The Largest Acoustic Ceiling in the Netherlands
The Mall of the Netherlands has opened with the acoustic expertise of Pennings. Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the owner of this transformation project, awarded Kwakman Groep the contract for the complete finishing, with Pennings Akoestiek taking care of the entire acoustic aspect.
In total, over 15,000m² of seamless acoustic ceiling was installed, featuring 2.8km of lighting lines, 550 service hatches, and more than 4500 cutouts. The Mall of the Netherlands stands among the absolute top of finishing projects, especially in the realm of acoustics. Wherever you are in the shopping center, acoustic considerations have been taken into account.
