The origin and succes of Pennings & the ELEGANZA

Pennings started in 1992 as a painting company. Director Ton Pennings has always been looking for opportunities within his industry to become the specialist par excellence. In 2002, Pennings came into contact with seamless acoustic ceilings, asking whether we, as a painting company, could provide the final finish, but it soon became clear that they were actually looking for a specialist for the entire system. In the past 21 years we have installed, advised and where necessary helped with product development of almost all possible brands, systems and products in the field of seamless acoustic ceilings.

As a specialist active in the construction industry for years, you also encounter all possible complaints and problems. For example, we see contamination of ceilings due to pressure differences, large tolerances and unevenness, problems integrating accessories, no color options, little absorbing capacity, too complex installation and not being able to find the right hands to properly install this specific product. From this desire arose to develop one system, which contains all the experience of do’s and don’ts, and together with the specialists from Knauf Ceiling Solutions, this has become the Eleganza. The Eleganza represents 21 years of practical experience and all the knowledge and expertise of Knauf Ceiling Solutions and Pennings Acoustic International combined.
