Joost Vermeulen your acoustic advisor and specialist

I’m Joost Vermeulen, and I am the face of Pennings Acoustic International. Many people call me a narrow-minded specialist or a strange combination between a physics nerd and a construction worker. Originally, I work as an acoustic consultant and have experience with both large en small projects. In this position, I have become a genuine expert in seamless acoustic ceiling systems, mastering the theory as well as practical on-site construction.

I have been involved with ELEGANZA since the development phase, forging a unique bond with the product. Consequently, I possess comprehensive knowledge of Eleganza and a deep understanding of competing systems available in the global market.

A significant portion of my time is dedicated to delivering training, whether it be through online education or at our training center located in the Netherlands. Pennings Acoustic International provides a range of product and commercial training courses for teams of Knauf Ceiling Solutions to acquire comprehensive knowledge about the Eleganza and competing systems. Armed with this information, you will be thoroughly prepared.

In addition to conducting training for Knauf Ceiling Solution teams, I also provide installer training. In about 1.5 days, installers acquire the knowledge necessary for the proper installation of the ELEGANZA seamless acoustic system. My practical experience comes in handy in this context. Aside from the training activities, I oversee the rest of the team within our organization and offer project-level support to Knauf Ceiling Solution teams whenever required.

I believe that the collaboration between Knauf Ceiling Solutions and Pennings Acoustic International is a winning combination. By joining forces, we have a strong foundation in all aspects and possess a wealth of knowledge in-house.
